These are two of my favorite horror films…EVER. They both were not successful at the box office but have become cult classics over the last few decades. I wanted to make a movie that dove back into the ’90s to celebrate these films in Sam Neill’s library.”

In the Mouth of Madness explores a mind unraveling as an insurance investigator, John Trent, tracks down a missing author named Sutter Cane. As Trent follows Cane to a fictional New England town, he realizes that Cane’s apocalyptic novels are not just fiction—they are actively driving humanity toward madness and rewriting reality itself.
Event Horizon takes us into the chilling void of space, where a revolutionary spaceship is rediscovered after seven years of disappearance. The team of scientists sent to investigate discover that the entire crew is dead, leaving behind only a terrifying, malevolent presence lurking on board.
