    Trachtenberg is diving into the animated world to co-direct and produce a brand new feature based on the graphic novel Freddy the 13th by Yehudi Mercado.     The story itself is pure animated fun, following a classic narrative structure where a family vacation takes a decidedly chaotic turn. This consistent work has kept 20th Century Studios highly invested in his future endeavors, particularly concerning Arnold Schwarzenegger’s potential return to the franchise.

    While the shadow of the Predator lingers, Trachtenberg is now channeling his creative energy into a fresh and unexpectedly lighthearted venture. He has recently signed a three-year first-look deal with Paramount Pictures, where he will develop, direct, and produce feature projects alongside producing partner Ben Rosenblatt.
