Arnold & Alan in Santa Comedy Trailer
Forget the eggnog and settle in, because a brand new holiday heist comedy is swinging onto the screen, promising a twist on Christmas magic that’s anything but traditional. Amazon MGM Studios has just unveiled the official trailer for The Man with the Bag, a wacky, heartwarming crime comedy that is set to deliver some serious holiday mayhem.
This isn’t your grandmother’s Christmas story. Directed by filmmaker Adam Shankman, the film blends the festive chaos of the holidays with the high-stakes thrill of a Christmas heist. At its core, the movie asks a delightful question: what happens when the magic of Santa Claus gets mixed up with a little bit of criminal ingenuity?
The premise is simple, yet wonderfully absurd. When Santa’s magical bag of Christmas presents vanishes, the jolly old Santa Claus—portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger—is left scrambling. To recover the stolen treasures, he has to team up with a former thief named Vance to navigate a world full of funny misunderstandings and unlikely friendships.
Get ready for some serious comedic chemistry. Alan Ritchson stars as the suave, yet reformed, thief Vance, whose skills will prove just as useful as Santa’s seasonal cheer. He’ll be joined by a stellar ensemble cast, including Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski, Ken Jeong, and Awkwafina, who plays the disgruntled elf thief, Nadia Nyce.
The resulting mix of humor, heart, and high-energy action promises a truly memorable holiday adventure. While the trailer may feature some delightfully chaotic footage, it hints at a film packed with laughs and surprisingly deep themes about second chances and the true meaning of giving.
If you’re looking for a comedy that balances holiday sparkle with witty crime drama, The Man with the Bag is an absolute must-watch. It’s a perfect blend of holiday magic and unlikely partnerships, proving that sometimes, even Santa needs a little help delivering the most important gifts of all.
Mark your calendars: prepare to embrace the fun, because this festive film will be streaming in December. It looks set to be the new classic comedy you need this holiday season.
