Hilary Rosen, the dynamic head of UKTV commissioning, is set to take the helm as the new chair of BAFTA. This appointment follows the conclusion of Sara Putt’s three-year tenure, ensuring a smooth and exciting handover of leadership within the esteemed awards system.

Rosen brings a wealth of experience and a strong reputation in the television sector. Adding another layer of change, the role of Deputy Chair is also seeing an update. Hilary Rosen will also assume the position of Deputy Chair for the organization, stepping into a crucial supporting role alongside the new chair.

This change in structure is further supported by new appointments in the deputy role. Ade Rawcliffe and Andrew Miller will join Rosen, providing a robust and diverse team to assist in the operational and strategic direction of the awards.

These transitions underscore the ongoing evolution of how the UK recognizes and celebrates television achievement. With industry leaders like Hilary Rosen guiding the process, BAFTA continues to demonstrate its commitment to recognizing the highest standards in television and media.
