Chris Pratt’s New Apple TV Action Thriller Trailer
The year 2026 proved to be an absolute whirlwind for Chris Pratt, solidifying his place as one of Hollywood’s most formidable action stars. From major box office triumphs to streaming behemoths, Pratt didn’t just participate in the cinematic landscape; he redefined it.
The year kicked off with a high-octane collaboration. Pratt joined forces with Rebecca Ferguson for the AI-driven sci-fi thriller, Mercy. This project didn’t just entertain; it roared to life at the box office, pulling in nearly $50 million before finding an even bigger audience as one of the most-watched movies on Prime Video that year.
But the momentum didn’t stop there. Pratt immediately pivoted to an epic, family-friendly adventure, starring in the feature film that smashed records, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. This massive production hit the global box office with a staggering $1 billion, and its appeal continued strong on Peacock weeks after its initial streaming debut.
Adding another layer to his impressive portfolio, Pratt also kept the momentum going with his television commitments. He reprised his role as James Reece in the highly anticipated third season of The Terminal List, making sure his impact reached viewers across multiple platforms.
With these monumental projects—from sci-fi thrillers to billion-dollar video games—Pratt demonstrated that he is far from done with 2026. He has successfully navigated the box office, streaming services, and television to cement his status as a powerhouse of modern cinema.
