Clarissa, TLC, and AAS Gotham Award Nominations 2026
The international spotlight shone brightly at the 36th Annual Gotham Awards, an event that brought together a diverse array of cinematic excellence. This year’s ceremony was judged by individual panels of critics, setting a high bar for the films vying for recognition.
Among the celebrated entries, the film Clarissa emerged as a standout, securing a remarkable four nominations, including the coveted Best Feature award. The nominations underscore the powerful narrative and compelling direction that the film delivered.
Beyond the major awards, the film landscape featured several other acclaimed works that captivated the industry. Neon’s All of a Sudden made a significant splash during the Cannes Director’s Fortnight in May, where it garnered nominations in several key categories.
The nomination sweep for All of a Sudden highlighted the exceptional talent within the production. It received nominations for Outstanding Lead Performance for Sophie Okonedo, Breakthrough Performer for India Amarteifio, and Adapted Screenplay for Chuko Esiri.
Further adding to the rich tapestry of cinematic recognition, the critically acclaimed works Tender Loving Care by Mike Leigh and All of a Sudden by Ryusuke Hamaguchi also earned four nominations each. While these films received significant industry attention, they did not qualify for the feature category at the Gotham Awards.
