The returning stars, Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan, were on hand to confirm that their characters will be back for the third installment.

The studio also unveiled a peek at the intergalactic adventure. A first look at the sequel to Lilo & Stitch showed fans a brand-new iteration of Experiment 624, now sporting pink fur and adorable antennae. This alien will be embarking on a new relationship with Lilo, setting the stage for Lilo & Stitch II, which is slated to arrive in cinemas on May 26th, 2028.

Sweet news also followed for the realm of Frozen. Josh Gad’s beloved Olaf is getting a new friend named Samantha in the upcoming third film. This development was accompanied by exciting news that Anna and Kristoff are set to get married during the movie, complete with first concept art revealing the couple’s future.

The live-action world was also treated to exciting developments. Footage from Disney’s live-action Tangled, currently filming in Spain, was revealed, featuring Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel and Diego Luna in a new role, alongside Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider.

For animation history buffs, Disney showcased details on the multi-part mini-series Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Directed by Jon Favreau, this project blends live-action with hand-drawn 2D animation to bring the original character to life. A talented ensemble cast, including Amy Sedaris and Steve Martin, lends their voices to the series, launching in February 2027.

Beyond sequels and familiar stories, Disney announced exciting new original content. The colorful and imaginative film Clay is set to hit theaters in 2028, starring Kieran Culkin. Furthermore, the studio has tapped a stellar cast for the animated feature Hexed, which will open in November, featuring Jodie Foster as a devious witch queen and Walton Goggins as the three-eyed cat Beef Roger Crummchuk.
