DWTS Season 35: Meet Jenna Dewan and the Cast


Get ready to hit the dance floor, because Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) Season 35 has officially unveiled its dazzling new lineup! The full celebrity roster, promising a thrilling mix of accomplished dancers, reality TV stars, and sports icons, was revealed recently, setting the stage for a spectacular two-night premiere on September 15 and 16.

The announcement, made public on Wednesday during Good Morning America, immediately ignited excitement, confirming that this season is packed with talent ready to take on the challenges and dazzling choreography of the ballroom. Fifteen celebrities are set to be paired with professional dancers to battle it out for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Some of the pairings are already generating buzz. Veteran star Jenna Dewan teams up with Val Chmerkovskiy, bringing her flair for dance to the competition. Meanwhile, the cast features familiar faces joining the fray, including Tatyana Ali, known for her role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Tyler Cameron, the Bachelorette alum, ready to show off their rhythm.

The cast list is brimming with exciting combinations. We see the high-energy pairing of Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas, alongside the dynamic duo of Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong. Sporting the competitive spirit, Jackson Olson, the baseball content creator, partners with Emma Slater, while Guillermo Rodriguez dances alongside reigning champion Witney Carson and Jimmy Kimmel Live! correspondent, Guillermo Rodriguez, who will be partnered with Witney Carson.

Other intriguing alliances complete the roster. Julia Stiles partners with Ezra Sosa, and the musical talents of Taylor Hanson joins forces with Britt Stewart. The cast also includes the celebrated Harry Shum Jr., who brings his star power from Glee and Grey’s Anatomy, dancing with Jenna Johnson. Furthermore, the group includes Connor Wood, the comedian and podcast host, alongside Rylee Arnold, and Connor Leavitt, whose wife Whitney previously competed in the season.

The cast also features incredible talent, including Amber Glenn, the U.S. figure skating champion, and a historic all-female pairing with Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills. Adding an athletic edge to the competition is Paralympian Ezra Frech, dancing with Daniella Karagach, and the culinary world star Giada De Laurentiis, who joins Alan Bersten.

Beyond the dance competition, the season promises engaging content for viewers. Andy Richter will be taking the reins as the official podcast host starting September 10, and Robert Irwin will be leading the new after-show special airing on September 16 on ABC and Disney+.
