Deep beneath the waves, a mystery is stirring. Netflix has just unveiled the teaser trailer for the six-episode series Below, a gripping adventure set against the rugged backdrop of Newfoundland where local myth meets terrifying reality.

At the heart of this unfolding drama is Calvin Penney, portrayed by Josh Hartnett. Calvin is a man defined by stubbornness and a lingering sorrow—a grief rooted in the mysterious death of his father decades ago. But when an unknown sea creature begins to haunt his small Newfoundland hometown, Calvin must fight to hold his close-knit community together against a threat that shatters the familiar world.

To confront the unfolding crisis, Calvin teams up with a visiting marine researcher, Mackenzie Davis. Together, they embark on a desperate mission to not only discover the true nature of the beast but also to uncover the island’s long-buried secrets before the darkness consumes them all.
