Kinaare and Not a Hero film premieres at Dharamshala
The Dharamshala International Film Festival is gearing up for its 15th edition, promising a rich cinematic experience for audiences. This year’s festival is set to be a vibrant gathering of filmmakers and cinematic voices, kicking off with the acclaimed Berlin-awarded film, Not a Hero, by Rima Das.
Adding another layer of excitement to the program is the debut of Kirti Kulhari’s work as a producer. Kulhari will be showcasing her feature film, Kinaare (“Shores”), during the festival, marking an exciting new chapter in her creative journey.
The festival will take place at the picturesque Tibetan Children’s Village in Upper Dharamshala, offering a unique setting for the cinematic events. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience the festival in person between October 29 and November 1.
For those who cannot attend in person, the festival will also extend its reach online, offering an accessible edition from November 2 through November 9. This dual format ensures that the festival’s engaging content reaches a wider global audience.
It is a wonderful opportunity to explore the diverse storytelling happening within the festival, featuring both established masters and emerging talent like Kirti Kulhari.
