The Epic Race: Inside the World of 12 12 12
Prepare for a high-stakes chase that spans months, hours, and days. Apple TV has just unveiled the trailer for 12 12 12, a limited series that throws viewers into the heart of what is being dubbed the biggest bank heist in Europe. This isn’t just a crime drama; it’s a meticulously crafted psychological game of cat and mouse between a disgraced FBI agent and a seasoned career criminal.
At the core of the series is the impossible timeline. The title itself speaks volumes, reflecting the epic scope of the operation: the 12 months of painstaking planning, the terrifying 12 hours of execution, and the subsequent 12 days that determine whether the culprits walk free or face justice. Each episode expertly navigates these three distinct timelines, giving the audience a complete, layered view of the operation from every angle.
The narrative centers on the intense rivalry between Jamie Dornan, playing the elusive American career criminal, and Anthony Mackie, who steps into the role of the disgraced FBI agent. Their zero-sum game unfolds across the diverse and dramatic landscapes of Europe, all culminating in a daring, epic raid on a vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich. It’s a story where every decision carries monumental consequences.
Adding depth and grit to this thrilling premise is an incredible ensemble cast. Alongside Dornan and Mackie, the series features talents like Jack Kesy, known for his intense roles in films like 12 Strong, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia, and Emmy nominee Kali Reis. This stellar group brings a wealth of dramatic experience to the unfolding drama.
The creative vision behind the project is spearheaded by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, while the series is directed by Emmy Award-nominated and BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker Kari Skogland. This foundation is built upon a production by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content, ensuring a high level of cinematic quality.
12 12 12 is set to premiere globally on Apple TV on Friday, November 13, 2026. Viewers will be treated to the first two episodes immediately, followed by one episode weekly through December 25, 2026, keeping the suspense ticking until the very end.
