Narnia The Magician’s Nephew First Trailer
Prepare to step into a world where imagination becomes reality, because Netflix has just unveiled the teaser trailer for Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s beloved fantasy saga, Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew.
This release is a monumental step for the streaming giant, marking Netflix’s most ambitious foray into theatrical cinema to date. It signals a readiness to bring epic, world-spanning adventures to the big screen, promising an experience that bridges the comfort of home viewing with the spectacle of the cinema.
The story begins in a fascinating place within the Chronicles of Narnia, focusing on the earliest events of the series. The Magician’s Nephew serves as the chronological starting point, chronicling the very moment Narnia is created and introducing the mysterious wardrobe that connects it to our own world.
At the heart of the narrative are the unlikely adventures of young friends. In this unfolding tale, Daniel Craig steps into the role of Uncle Andrew, the eponymous magician whose lifelong tinkering with magical artifacts sets the stage for extraordinary events. His experiments yield life-changing results for his young nephew, Digory, and his neighbor, Polly.
Their innocent play leads them to touch a magical ring, an object that instantly sends them hurtling into a completely new, enchanted world. But this journey is not without peril. As they venture forth, they accidentally unleash a powerful and malevolent sorceress, who is awakened from her enchanted sleep. Driven by an insatiable hunger for ultimate power, this villain is determined to tear down every world in her path.
The film gathers a stellar cast to bring these magical events to life. Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, and Ciarán Hinds star in the production, promising compelling performances as they navigate the treacherous landscape of creation and chaos.
Fans eager to witness this magical journey can look forward to the cinematic experience starting on February 12th, 2027, in cinemas. For those who prefer the stream, the full feature will be available on Netflix on April 2nd, 2027. Get ready for a truly unforgettable adventure.
