New Cliff Booth poster confirms Reznor Ross score visuals
A Retro Fixer: The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth Arrives with a Throwback Vibe
The cinematic world just got a dose of nostalgic grit. Netflix has unveiled a new poster for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, leaning into a grainy, retro aesthetic that instantly transports viewers back to a classic era of Hollywood mischief. This throwback poster features Brad Pitt as the iconic Cliff Booth gazing into his rearview mirror, surrounded by character boxes introducing the ensemble cast, setting the stage for what promises to be a wild summer of crime.
Adding another layer of cinematic intrigue, the poster confirms that the haunting, atmospheric score for the film will be provided by David Fincher’s legendary collaborators, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Their signature sound is set to underscore the simmering tension and high-stakes drama of the story.
At the heart of this unfolding narrative is Cliff Booth, played masterfully by Brad Pitt. The film dives into the gritty world of 1977 Los Angeles, picking up just eight years after the events of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, blending familiar cinematic history with fresh criminal chaos. This is where the fairytale ends and the real trouble begins.
In The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, Hollywood no longer needs a simple stuntman; it needs a fixer. When the city runs on ambition, blackmail, and desire, Cliff Booth is the unlikely hero—a man with unique, often extralegal abilities who steps in to solve problems for the city’s great and not-so-great players.
Booth’s adventures take a sharp turn when he receives a call from talent agent Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki) regarding her client, TV megastar Charlie Peters (Scott Caan), a man known for his own stunts. As Cliff navigates this new world, he encounters a cast of unforgettable characters. Among them are Toni, his knowing wife (Carla Gugino), pro football champion turned screen star Roderick “Hot Rod” Harrison (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), and the mysterious Verdusco brothers (Matt Groove and JB Tadena), who are causing mayhem across the city.
The story weaves together murder, blackmail, theft, and extortion, transforming the LA landscape into a volatile cocktail of violence and ambition. It is a tale that captures the raw energy of Hollywood, presenting a narrative steeped in desire and the complicated truths that thrive in the shadows.
Get ready for a true crime epic disguised as a summer story. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will debut for a two-week exclusive engagement in IMAX Theaters globally on November 25, 2026, before landing on Netflix on December 23, 2026.
