New Trailer for ‘His Monster’ Mysterious Horror with Gabriel Casdorph
Some mysteries are best left in the shadows, but some monsters demand to be seen. Indie horror filmmaker Erich Cannon has released the official trailer for His Monster, a chilling new thriller set deep within the woods that promises to deliver atmosphere and palpable dread.
This is more than just a scary movie; it’s an atmospheric mystery that pulls the viewer into a world where reality dissolves into fear. The story centers on a devastating tragedy, a loss that fuels a desperate, haunted search for answers. The premise kicks off when a father, grappling with grief and alcoholism, believes a monstrous force is responsible for the disappearance of his young daughter.
Alone in the dense woods, his quest quickly spirals into something far more terrifying. As James searches for the truth, he begins to realize that the true monster isn’t just something out there—it’s the creeping paranoia and the encroaching deaths that surround him. The film masterfully blurs the line between supernatural fear and psychological terror, forcing the protagonist to confront the horrifying possibility that the terror he perceives is real.
The film features a compelling cast, highlighted by the performances of Gabriel Casdorph and Meranda Long, whose chemistry adds a layer of raw emotion to the unsettling narrative. Director Erich Cannon has a proven knack for crafting deeply unsettling narratives, a talent further demonstrated by his previous indie horror feature, The Cuckoo Clock.
What sets His Monster apart is its commitment to practical, creepy-cool horror. The film embraces a style that focuses on mood and implication, allowing the shadows and the silence of the forest to do the heavy lifting. It’s an experience for those who enjoy mysteries steeped in suspense and deep, lingering unease.
Mark your calendars, because this atmospheric horror thriller will be available for Video on Demand starting in early October, kicking off the spooky season in a way that is both mysterious and deeply engaging. Prepare to question everything you think you know about the dark side of the woods.
