New ‘Wicked Fun’ Teaser for Disney’s Hexed Witch Movie
Get ready to embrace the delightfully wicked. Disney Animation Studios has just dropped a promotional teaser for their latest magical adventure, Hexed, promising a journey filled with teenage angst, family secrets, and plenty of magical mayhem.
Set to arrive in theaters in November 2026, this new film is slated to land right on Thanksgiving, offering audiences a perfect dose of enchantment just in time for the holiday season. More than just a fantasy romp, Hexed marks a significant milestone for Walt Disney Animation Studios, standing as their 65th animated feature in the studio’s rich and illustrious history.
At the heart of the story is an awkward teen who finds herself navigating the strange world of magic, alongside her Type-A mother. As they embark on this magical coming-of-age saga, they are forced to confront the possibility that their own peculiarities might be far more than just quirks—they could be the keys to unlocking astonishing magical powers.
The film dives deep into the fantastical World of Witches, where this mother-daughter duo discovers not only the secrets of magic but also the hidden truths about their own family history. It’s a story about self-discovery, proving that the greatest magic often lies within.
The cast brings a stellar lineup to the enchanting roles. Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones anchor the adventure, bringing fresh energy and relatable vulnerability to the narrative. They are joined by an impressive ensemble of voice actors, including Tracey Ullman, who voices the enchanted feather quill pen Ms. Quill, and Stephen Fry as the magical journal Elias Quire.
The supporting cast is equally compelling, featuring Jodie Foster as Queen Celeste, the formidable villainess of the witches, and Walton Goggins portraying the delightfully odd Beef Roger Crumbchuck, a three-eyed green cat.
Director Jason Hand has assured audiences that the film is packed with genuine fun. He describes the journey as a pivotal moment where the protagonist begins to feel truly seen for the first time, leading her on a quest that uncovers long-held family secrets through a powerful connection to the magic surrounding her.
Even after watching the exciting trailers, the consensus is clear: Hexed is set to deliver some truly wicked fun. It promises a magical, humorous, and deeply satisfying story that taps into the universal themes of growing up, acceptance, and the thrilling power of self-discovery.
