The world of cinema has just been charmed by a truly unique fable, proving that sometimes the most absurd premises lead to the most enchanting stories. Black Bear has unveiled the trailer for their latest offering, Wicker, a film that takes a classic theme and gives it a delightfully whimsical twist.

At the heart of this charming comedy is a tale steeped in the tender chaos of sex, marriage, and the often-absurd demands of social convention. The plot follows an ostracized fisherwoman who commissions a husband crafted from wicker. When her husband—played by Alexander Skarsgård—proves to be more spectacular than she ever imagined, his unique spirit sends ripples of jealousy, fascination, and upheaval throughout their small village.

The artistic vision behind this delightful story was brought to life by writers and directors Eleanor Wilson and Alex Huston Fischer. Their ambition shines through every frame, crafting a narrative that is both wonderfully strange and deeply relatable.

The ensemble cast is stacked with cinematic talent, pairing Oscar-winner Olivia Colman with a constellation of acclaimed actors. She shares the screen with Alexander Skarsgård, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki, bringing depth and sparkle to the fairy tale.
