The stage is set for another intense season of rivalry as the cast for HBO and Crave’s gay hockey drama, Heated Rivalry, is expanding and deepening as production moves forward.

Fans are already thrilled by the return of the show’s leading men, Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov and Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander, who continue to anchor the compelling narrative.

Adding fresh energy to the ensemble are recent additions Charlie Gillespie and Justice Smith, bringing new dynamics to the existing storylines.

The roster of returning talent is equally impressive. The beloved couple, The Borgias and Twinless star François Arnaud, returns as Scott Hunter, joined by Robbie G.K. as his love interest Kip.

The web of relationships woven through the series is rich and complex. Christina Chang and Dylan Walsh are back as Shane’s parents, Yuna and David, while Sophie Nélisse steps in as Shane’s actress friend Rose. Longtime friends are also returning, with Daniela Kharlamova joining as Ilya’s friend Svetlana.

The supporting cast continues to provide depth, with Callan Potter returning as Hayden and Benjamin Roy as JJ, and Kamilla Kowal taking on the role of Hayden’s wife, Jackie.

But the exciting journey doesn’t stop there. The series is introducing a vibrant wave of new faces, injecting fresh perspectives into the drama. These newcomers include Daniel Diemer as Ryan, Shaheen Jafargholi as Fabian, Emily Hampshire as Vanessa, Edvin Ryding as Luca, Robert Naylor as Wyatt, Sabrina Jalees as Farah, and Priyanka as Tarek.

With such an extensive cast and compelling stories on the horizon, filming is expected to continue well into the Fall, building anticipation for an airing around mid-2027.
