North of North Season 2 Trailer Set in Ice Cove
The frozen landscapes of the Arctic are about to get a serious dose of self-determination. Netflix has officially unveiled the trailer for Season 2 of the wildly popular comedy series North of North, promising even more wild adventures from the heart of the far North.
Set in the breathtaking, yet challenging, environment of Ice Cove, the series explores the lives of Inuk women navigating complex relationships and the daunting task of building a new future for themselves. Co-created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, the show is a heartwarming and hilarious look at resilience against the backdrop of the Arctic.
At the core of the story is Siaja (played by Anna Lambe), a young Inuk mother who is determined to take control of her own narrative. After a spontaneous exit from her marriage, Siaja is forging herself into exactly what she wants to become, proving that a fresh start is just the tip of the iceberg.
As winter closes in on the Arctic town, Siaja continues to make bold decisions, embracing both the joy and the difficulty of leveling up her life while trying to prove her strength to her tight-knit community. The atmosphere is rich with the unique culture and community spirit of Nunavut.
The production itself lends authenticity to the experience, with filming taking place on location up in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The stunning scenery provides the perfect, dramatic backdrop for the personal struggles and triumphs of the characters.
The cast is packed with talent, featuring Anna Lambe as Siaja, alongside Maika Harper as Neevee, Braeden Clarke as Kuuk, and a stellar ensemble including Jay Ryan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Zorga Qaunaq, Bailey Poching, Nutaaq Simmonds, and Keira Cooper.
The first season of North of North captivated audiences upon its debut in late 2025. Now, Season 2 is ready to launch and will stream on Netflix this November, inviting viewers to join the journey of these incredible Arctic characters.
