The eight-episode spinoff centers on Maria Sten, who steps into the role of a private investigator after a devastating personal loss throws her life into disarray. Seeking answers about a friend’s suspicious death, she must rely on her sharp instincts and formidable skills to uncover the truth hidden in the shadows of Chicago.

Sten’s transition is driven by an innate determination to find what others cannot, channeling the tenacity she honed during her time serving in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. This past experience provides her with a unique lens through which she navigates a world filled with danger and deception.

In Neagley, Sten leverages this specialized background to chase down leads, placing herself directly in the path of a dangerous enemy as she attempts to resolve her personal tragedy.
