Ruby and Mikaela find a bloody corpse in a horror trailer
Get ready to scrub your hands and brace yourselves, because the horror-comedy Dead Giveaway is about to land, promising a hangover that goes far, far beyond the alcohol.
In a twist that is as messy as it is hilarious, stars Ruby Modine, known for her work in Happy Death Day, and Mikaela Hoover, famous for her role in Superman, as two friends navigate a very, very unpleasant morning.
Their carefree night out quickly spirals into a nightmare, setting the stage for a classic, chaotic scenario where the consequences of a drunken binge lead to some truly gruesome discoveries.
The trouble begins when a severely hungover Jill finds herself facing the unthinkable in her bedroom: a dead man. But the situation doesn’t stop there. Adding insult to injury, she discovers a second man tied up in the closet, intensifying the mystery and the mayhem.
Together, Jill (Modine) and her best friend Lia (Hoover) must scramble to make sense of the horrifying situation before their 3:00 pm brunch. You have never dealt with a hangover quite like this.
The film is directed by Ian Kimble, who makes his feature debut in this genre-bending adventure. Kimble brings a fresh, darkly comedic perspective to the story, drawing inspiration from his previous work, including his 2015 short film of the same name.
The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Scout Taylor-Compton in a supporting role from Halloween, alongside a stellar group of actors such as Suzann Toni Petrongolo, Buddy Caine, Jeremy Feight, Jessie Allen Hitner, and Andrew Vogel.
Dead Giveaway is set to hit Digital outlets at home on November 3, 2026.
