Stanley Tucci Heist Film Masterplan Trailer
Prepare for a masterpiece of high-stakes larceny and unexpected family drama. Amazon Prime Video has just dropped the trailer for Masterplan, a new heist thriller starring Stanley Tucci and promising a spectacular adventure set to premiere on the service on October 16th.
The premise is pure cinematic gold: a legendary thief is tasked with pulling off the ultimate score—a heist targeting the Mona Lisa. But this isn’t just a job; it’s a recruitment mission that quickly spirals into something far more complicated.
To assist in this audacious plan, the thief recruits two unlikely partners. First is Chiara, a brilliant Italian cybercrime expert who brings sharp, digital cunning to the team. The second is Jay, a swaggering French explosives specialist, whose expertise lies in the art of controlled chaos.
What begins as a calculated partnership quickly devolves into a chaotic reunion. As they navigate the complexities of the heist, a startling truth is revealed: the two recruits are long-lost siblings, and the legendary thief is, in fact, their father.
Thrown into this chaotic family dynamic, the trio must now learn to work together—and manage their explosive personalities—if they hope to pull off what promises to be the heist of the century.
The film is backed by major creative forces, with Gaumont and Amazon MGM Studios involved. It is directed by Thomas Vincent, known for acclaimed works like Reacher and Bodyguard, and penned by BAFTA-winning screenwriter David Wolstencroft, famed for stories like Spooks and The Escape Artist.
Get ready for a thrilling ride where the thrill of the chase meets the intensity of unexpected kinship.
