TED Animated Series Teaser Trailer
Get ready to settle in, because Peacock has just dropped the teaser trailer for TED: The Animated Series, promising a fresh, hilarious spin on the world of Seth MacFarlane’s beloved comedy films and previous live-action stories.
This new animated series isn’t just a sequel; it’s a full-blown reunion, bringing back the familiar voice of Ted alongside a fantastic new ensemble cast. Mark Wahlberg steps in as the voice of John, Ted’s best friend, while Amanda Seyfried voices John’s wife, Sam, and Jessica Barth brings the charm of Ted’s wife, Tami-Lynn, to the forefront.
Twelve years after the events of the previous film, the story shifts focus to the everyday chaos of adulthood. John and Ted are now neighbors, navigating the ups and downs of shared space, competing family dynamics, and the inevitable missteps of life.
These two lovable stoners, John and Ted, find themselves enabling each other’s spectacularly bad ideas concerning marriage, parenting, and the sheer absurdity of adult life. Their neighborly struggles provide the perfect backdrop for a deeply comedic exploration of growing up and settling down.
Adding even more colorful characters to the mix are Kyle Mooney, who plays Apollo, and Liz Richman, who brings depth as Ruth, ensuring that the dynamic between the main characters is anything but ordinary.
The creative team behind the project includes MacFarlane, along with executive producers Paul Corrigan, Brad Walsh, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, Aimee Carlson, and Claudia Katz.
TED: The Animated Series is set to debut exclusively on Peacock starting on December 17th, offering fans a perfect dose of family comedy and relatable adult mishaps.
