Today, he proudly proclaims that he is seven years sober, demonstrating remarkable progress in taking control of his demons and finding strength in personal growth.
The journey from navigating the glamour of Hollywood to finding sobriety is a powerful testament to courage. Furlong emphasizes that admitting shortcomings and taking control of one’s path requires immense bravery, and he credits the process for helping him move forward.

In August, Furlong reunited with Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn, and Robert Patrick at a Terminator 2 convention to mark the film’s 35th anniversary. Seeing these colleagues together, sharing stories and laughter about Cameron’s masterpiece, provided a wonderful moment of connection.
