A new cinematic offering is set to sleigh the holiday season, blending the festive spirit with a dash of high-stakes action comedy. Saban Films has officially unveiled the main trailer for The Holiday Hitman, a British action comedy helmed by filmmaker Bradley Stryker, promising a chaotic and festive adventure.
At its core, the film follows the titular hitman, Hank Carter, who finds himself in a precarious situation. His mission to secure a perfect family Christmas quickly turns into a desperate race against time when he is pursued by a gang of festive bounty hunters. The premise is simple: Hank must fend off these unwanted guests using nothing more than Christmas decorations, all while trying to salvage his marriage.
The trailer suggests a recipe for delightful mayhem, placing Hank right in the thick of holiday mayhem. Waves of holiday-themed hitmen descend upon his mansion, forcing Hank to deploy his wits and the season’s decorations to survive the ensuing chaos.
The ensemble cast brings a vibrant mix to the action-comedy narrative. Starring Nick Sagar as the resourceful Hank Carter, the film is bolstered by a strong supporting cast including Montana Manning, Gabriela Ochoa Perez, Ricky Norwood, Florence Hall, Eloise Lovell Anderson, Vas Blackwood, and Mark Fleischmann.
While some critics have noted the action-comedy genre can be tricky, this film leans into the absurdity of the situation, promising an entertaining romp that turns holiday cheer into high-octane comedy. It’s a ticket to watching a man attempt to manage a crisis, juggling family obligations and armed bounty hunters amidst a backdrop of holiday cheer.
Marking the arrival of The Holiday Hitman, audiences can expect a lighthearted, action-packed experience designed to deliver exactly the kind of festive distraction needed for the season. Prepare for some seriously wacky Christmas suspense.
