These Summer Storms Hulu Adaptation
The Foster sisters, Erin and Sara, are clearly enjoying a period of creative momentum, juggling successful television projects while embarking on exciting new literary and dramatic ventures. Following the recent success of their comedy work, they have announced plans for another major series, promising fans and industry alike a compelling new narrative.
While audiences are tuning in this weekend for the third season of their popular Netflix comedy, Nobody Wants This, the sisters are already setting their sights on the next big challenge. They have officially lined up a new dramatic series titled These Summer Storms.
This new project draws inspiration from the acclaimed novel of the same name by Sarah MacLean, a story that promises rich, atmospheric drama. The adaptation is currently in development at Hulu through 20th Television, signaling a major step in their transition from comedic roles to serious dramatic storytelling.
The transition from lighthearted comedy to a more intense drama highlights the versatility of the Foster sisters and suggests an appetite for exploring deeper, more complex emotional landscapes on screen. With their established success, These Summer Storms is positioned to be a significant entry in their growing portfolio, building on the foundation they established with projects like The Fosters’ Fatigue Sisters.
