Trigger’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Full Action Trailer
The neon lights are burning brighter than ever, promising a descent into a future where spectacle is the only law. Netflix has just dropped the official trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, an intense continuation that plunges viewers back into the gritty, high-stakes world of the Cyberpunk universe.
This new season isn’t just another installment; it’s a deeper dive into the brutal reality of existence in Night City. Set fully within the sprawling world of Cyberpunk 2077, the anime pushes the limits of futuristic action, delivering a narrative steeped in raw emotion and unforgettable thrills.
The series continues the legacy of the original Edgerunners, evolving the story with a cast of familiar faces and even more compelling new characters. It remains a visceral chronicle of redemption and revenge, forcing its characters to confront the extreme choices they make when the world is blinded by relentless violence and spectacle.
Behind the spectacle, a powerhouse creative team is steering this cinematic journey. Produced by TRIGGER under the supervision of CD Projekt RED, the series leverages the world-building established by the video game to create an atmosphere that is simultaneously trippy and devastatingly real.
The creative leadership is anchored by notable talents. Kai Ikarashi steps into the role of director, bringing a distinct vision to the unfolding drama. Ichigo Kanno, who designed the lead character, continues to define the visual aesthetic of the story, while Bartosz Sztybor returns as showrunner, ensuring the narrative maintains its sharp, unforgiving edge.
The soundtrack only amplifies the intensity, with the final trailer featuring a blast of happy hardcore techno, perfectly underscoring the chaotic energy of the narrative. It’s a sonic reflection of the frantic, high-octane life lived on the fringes of the city.
For fans of intense, futuristic action and stories about the cost of survival, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 promises to be an explosive experience. Prepare to dive into the next chapter of this sci-fi thriller, arriving on Netflix starting next week.
