Vertical Wraps Up Domestic with Moffat & Stiles Comedy
Get ready to embrace the chaos, because this holiday season is about to get wonderfully unbearable. The comedy series Vertical is bringing a fresh wave of festive mayhem, promising a holiday season filled with laughs, star power, and a dash of pure, unadulterated holiday spirit.
The show is anchored by a dream cast of comedic heavyweights. Viewers can look forward to the inimitable performances of SNL alum Alex Moffat, Julia Stiles, David Cross, Caroline Rhea, and the Emmy Award-winning Stephen Root, known for his work in Widow’s Bay. This stellar ensemble promises a unique blend of sharp wit and relatable holiday struggles.
At the heart of the merriment is a delightfully absurd premise revolving around the chaotic realities of the Christmas season. The narrative follows the antics of the unforgettable Troy Tipton, played by Moffat. Tipton is a struggling out-of-work weatherman who finds himself facing a mission far more important than forecasting the weather: recovering a single, cherished teddy bear.
This simple quest quickly spirals into a holiday odyssey, where Tipton’s search for the lost toy becomes an epic adventure filled with unexpected complications and hilarious misunderstandings. It’s a perfect recipe for holiday comedy, pairing the high-energy performances of the cast with the genuine absurdity of chasing a beloved trinket during the festive season.
Prepare yourselves for Vertical, a show that proves that the most unforgettable Christmas memories are often found in the most ridiculous, heartwarming, and utterly unbearable moments.
