Avatar Seven Havens trailer explodes with color and intrigue
Get ready to bend the rules, because the next epic chapter in the Avatar universe is about to drop, promising a world shattered by history and a destiny yet to be written. The highly anticipated animated series, Avatar: Seven Havens, is officially arriving globally on Paramount+ on Friday, October 9.
This new adventure continues the incredible legacy established by the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, bringing us into a radically altered world set 225 years after the events of The Legend of Korra. It’s a dramatic setting filled with upheaval, forcing new characters to navigate a landscape fundamentally reshaped by cataclysm.
At the heart of the story is Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers a staggering truth: she is the next Avatar. But in this dark and dangerous era, holding the legendary title doesn’t grant her heroism; it marks her as humanity’s destroyer. Pavi, along with her long-lost twin sister, Nisha, must race against relentless human and spirit enemies to uncover their mysterious origins and fight to save the remaining Seven Havens from collapse.
The series promises a stunning visual experience. Moving away from previous aesthetics, Avatar: Seven Havens embraces a bold, refined, and chibi-esque art style. This new visual approach, reminiscent of the cel-shaded, post-apocalyptic feel seen in Sable, adds a fresh, vibrant energy to the narrative while still looking absolutely gorgeous.
The story has an equally compelling cast ready to bring these characters to life. Saheli Khan is set to portray Pavi, while Aishu Devan takes on the role of her twin, Nisha. The series is bolstered by a stellar ensemble, including Akshay Khanna as Karthik, Major Curda as Jae, Sakina Jaffrey as Agam, Darren Barnet as Daemin, and franchise veteran Dee Bradley Baker, who lends his talent to Geet and Ruhi.
