San Kyi’s life, already weighted by domestic demands, is further complicated by the workplace. While supervisors dictate the pace of the workday, San Kyi finds a strange sense of autonomy in her off-hours, where the rules are almost as lenient as those imposed by her bosses.
In this landscape of hardship and quiet endurance, empathy can be scarce. However, when new factory employee Theint steps forward to defend San Kyi, a shift occurs. Her spontaneous act of support sparks an undeniable gratitude that shines in her eyes.
