The highly anticipated series is an animated meta comedy-adventure that throws classic fantasy action into a decidedly tongue-in-cheek context. The show is set in the fantastical land of Yuria, where three warriors must battle the nefarious Death Adder and wield the titular Golden Axe to save the day.
The creative engine behind this delightfully absurd adventure is a powerhouse duo. Mike McMahan, known for his work on Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Joe Chandler, creator of American Dad, co-created the series.
