Indy hunts Marvel artifacts like the Infinity Gauntlet in crossover covers

Legendary adventurers often chase treasure, but what happens when the quest spans dimensions? Marvel Comics is about to ignite a crossover event that blends the thrill of classic archaeology with the raw power of the Marvel Universe, bringing the iconic Indiana Jones to a hunt unlike any before.

Indy’s latest expedition won’t be for gold alone; he will be searching for some of the most powerful and recognizable artifacts the Marvel world has to offer. Imagine the legendary archaeologist strapping on his wits and preparing for a journey that puts him in pursuit of items that even cosmic heavyweights like Thanos, Thor, and Doctor Doom would instantly recognize.

Among the treasures Indy will seek are objects of immense cosmic significance. He is on the hunt for the powerful Infinity Gauntlet, the enchanted hammer Mjolnir wielded by Thor, the dark power of All-Black the Necrosword connected to Knull, and the unmistakable mask of Doctor Doom. His quest will also lead him to the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, the mystical artifact that grants Juggernaut his incredible powers.

To visually capture this epic pursuit, Marvel is launching a brand-new series titled Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts Covers. This collection features stunning artwork from a talented group of illustrators, including Iban Coello, Sara Pichelli, Mahmud Asrar, Carmen Carnero, and Marco Checchetto, showcasing Indy interacting with these legendary Marvel objects.

Beyond the artifact hunt, Marvel is also giving fans a chance to revisit the rich history of the adventurer. The publisher is bringing classic Indiana Jones comics back into print with new hardcover collections. Readers can look forward to Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures Book I and Book II, which will be released in hardcover in October 2026. These collections will compile Marvel’s material from the 1980s, including adaptations of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, alongside material from The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones.

This celebration of Indy’s legacy continues into the future. In 2027, a brand-new adventure will launch with Indiana Jones and the Sword of Pandemonium. Written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Aaron Kuder, this globe-spanning quest picks up the action following the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark, promising yet another epic adventure for the archaeologist.
