The simmering tension and heartfelt romance of Heated Rivalry is gearing up for a major expansion, with the series bringing six dynamic new cast members aboard for its second season. HBO Max and Crave are currently bringing this evolving hockey romance drama to life, adding fresh energy and star power to the already compelling storyline.
This expansion bolsters the ensemble, introducing a collection of actors who bring established depth and intriguing past roles to the series. Brendan Morgan joins as Zane Boodram, David Tomlinson steps into the role of Cody Kent, Gerry Dee plays Coach Cooper, Michelle Mylett takes on the role of Lisa, Lauren Chan portrays Gen, and Nick Stahl steps in as Curtis Barrett.
The talent pool for Season 2 is already stacked, pulling from a roster of actors known for their diverse, high-profile credits. Michelle Mylett brings gravitas, having starred in hits like Letterkenny and El Camino Christmas, while Lauren Chan has graced the screen in The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Canada’s Drag Race. Nick Stahl is also a familiar face, having played roles in films like Let the Right One In and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
The influx of new faces is part of a growing creative team. Beyond the core group, the series is also welcoming Emily Hampshire as Vanessa, Edvin Ryding as Luca Haas, Robert Naylor as Wyatt Hayes, Sabrina Jalees as Farah Jalali, and Priyanka as Tarek.
