Wacky toilet horror comedy trailer filmed entirely inside a toilet
Prepare to have your perception of bathroom humor completely redefined. Dark Sky Films has dropped a trailer for Flush, a French genre film that doesn’t just bend the rules of horror and comedy—it completely shatters them. If you thought genre films were getting weird, wait until you meet the sheer, glorious absurdity of a story where the setting is less a stage and more a porcelain nightmare.
Flush dives headfirst into the wonderfully grotesque, taking us on a truly bonkers journey. Imagine the premise: a middle-aged cocaine addict, trying to win back his ex-girlfriend, finds himself embroiled in chaos after a night spent stealing drugs in a club bathroom. What starts as a petty crime quickly spirals into something utterly bizarre and increasingly grotesque.
The film masterfully escalates the tension, transforming a simple predicament into a descent into pure madness. As the protagonist spirals through increasingly strange events—encountering everything from a junkie rat to dangerous dealers—the horror elements blend seamlessly with the comedy, creating a visceral, unforgettable experience. It asks the question: what happens when the mundane becomes utterly, spectacularly monstrous?
The cinematic vision is truly unique, pushing the boundaries of what we expect from the horror genre. It takes the unsettling elements you might find in films like Trainspotting and pushes them into entirely new, deeply weird territory. The result is a cinematic experience that is both hilarious and deeply unsettling, leaving the audience asking, “you’ve really never seen anything like this before.”
The cast brings this wild concept to life with a stellar ensemble. The film stars R. Jonathan Lambert as the main character, Luc (or Luke), joined by the talents of Élodie Navarre, Elliot Jenicot, and Rémy Adriaens, ensuring that the sheer chaotic energy of the story is delivered with comedic timing and genuine horror. Prepare for a film that is loud, laugh-out-loud, and undeniably filthy.
