Wilde and Aniston star in naughty movie with Star Wars cast
When you put a star-studded ensemble with a touch of holiday chaos, you get something truly memorable. Director Olivia Wilde is bringing her unique vision to the screen with her upcoming comedy, Naughty, a project set to bring together some of Hollywood’s biggest names in a story about messy divorce, sticky custody battles, and the magic of the North Pole.
The film is slated for release in theaters on November 5, 2027, and is being distributed by Universal Pictures. At the heart of the comedy is Mallory, played by Jennifer Aniston, who finds herself in a highly unlikely quest: securing custody of her son from her ex, only to discover that the only way to win is by involving the ultimate magical authority.
Mallory’s unlikely ally in this quest is Santa Claus, played by the acclaimed Peter Dinklage, who must convince the jolly man to appear and testify during her tense divorce hearing. This premise promises a delightful blend of high-stakes drama and slapstick holiday cheer.
The creative team behind Naughty is stacked with talent. Besides Wilde, the project is helmed by scriptwriter Jimmy Warden, and is set to be produced by the talented team of Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara, alongside Wilde and Warden themselves. Executive Vice President of Production Development Sara Scott and Director of Production Development Jacqueline Garell will oversee the project for the studio.
Adding to the cast’s appeal, there are whispers that Chase Sui Wonders will also be involved in the fun, rumored to be joining Aniston on her trip to the North Pole. While the full cast details are still unfolding, the project already boasts a stellar foundation.
