The contingent features four distinct titles, each vying for attention among the industry elite. Among them is El mal padre, which is set to compete in the main competition, signaling a strong directorial voice.
Adding to the festival lineup is the buzzy drama, La Bola Negra, which is being showcased in the Perlak section. This film holds particular significance as Atresmedia Cine has secured the free-to-air rights to this critically acclaimed drama, ensuring its reach beyond the festival atmosphere.
The selection also includes Karateka, presented at the Velodrome, offering a unique perspective on the narrative. Completing the selection is Blind Ants, directed by Inurri Itsuak, which has made its debut at the Zinemira.
