Guy Ritchie continues to prove that the master of stylish, intricate storytelling never slows down. With his latest cinematic venture, Wife and Dog, the director is back with a production that promises the same heady mix of high-stakes drama and chaotic betrayal that fans expect from him.

While the film was originally slated for an October release, Black Bear has adjusted the timeline for this epic, pushing Wife and Dog to the big screen on February 19, 2027.
Ritchie’s prolific output is a testament to his enduring creative engine. In the years leading up to this latest feature, he has delivered an impressive slate of films, including Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, The Covenant, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Fountain of Youth, and In The Grey.
Beyond cinema, Ritchie’s influence extends deeply into television. He has successfully navigated the world of serialized storytelling, notably with The Gentlemen, which remains a favorite, and the ongoing series MobLand. The latter is set to drop its second season on Paramount+ on September 18, and the show has been successfully renewed for a third season.
Another of his television ventures, Young Sherlock, has also been renewed for a second season, continuing the narrative of the future master detective at Oxford University.
Looking ahead, Ritchie is currently co-creating and co-writing a new series for Amazon MGM Studios titled Capital. This upcoming crime drama is set to explore the shadowy underbelly of modern-day London, a setting that feels perfectly aligned with Ritchie’s signature style. He will be driving this project as a co-creator, co-writer, director, and producer alongside Rob Williams.
